Unfortunately, this fee is unavoidable in today’s highly competitive volunteering sector, and goes towards paying our annual overheads, website maintainence, travel costs, advertising, staffing costs, and other communications costs. Year-on year, as volunteer numbers increase, this fee is steadily reducing. I believe that in an ideal world, volunteering should be free or inexpensive!      Having worked on the volunteer programme for 7 months, and having travelled the region extensively, Essential Croatia has a detailed knowledge of these islands. The last 4 years have been dedicated to researching the area, and large part of the service we provide is in giving you the most accurate up-to-date information about getting here inexpensively and efficiently, sharing our extensive knowledge of the Griffon Vulture Programme, and recruiting volunteers for 'ECCIB' at no cost to their organisation.
