Transfers to Beli will
take around 2 hours on average as there is a ferry crossing involved.
There is only one
small shop in Beli which opens in the summer months to serve the
campsite by the main beach, and a small post office in the village-open
2 hrs per day 10am-12pm.
Distance to
Beli’s 4 beaches and beach shop is 800 metres to 1km.
There are 2
public telephones in Beli…people can buy cards for these at the
post-office. Mobile phones also operate here so ring them along.
You should bring
a pair of sturdy boots with ankle support, sunhat, sun-screen, fleece or
windproof layer, lightweight waterproof jacket, binoculars for
bird-watching.
People should be
reasonably fit and accustomed to walking up to 15kms or 10miles.
Croatian Kuna is
the preferred currency although Euros are also widely accepted as a
substitute.
NB:
cost of transfer is proportionately higher if less people share the
minibus.
